The Front and Back covers for the 2021-2022 Edition of the Africa Policy Journal were taken by 2022′ MC/MPA Student Charles “Chuck” Bell. The front cover shows a African student seated in a classroom wearing a mask, illustrating the transition back to in-person learning in the midst of the COVID19 pandemic. The photo is part of the “Colors” exhibition in the Harvard Kennedy School Library organized by Thomas Bishop, 2022 MCMPA student and Co-Editor In Chief of the Anti Racism Policy Journal. The back cover shows another African student speaking to a classroom, a reminder that now is the time to tell our story to the world. A huge thank you to both students and to Chuck Bell for giving us permission to use these lovely images. The photo on the inside page of the Journal was taken by professional photographer Martha Stewart.
