Former Ambassador Faizel Ismail is one of the world’s leading experts on development economics and trade policy. Some of his past roles include serving as South Africa’s Senior Trade Negotiator and Diplomat to the WTO and the head of Export and Investment Promotion at the South African Department of Trade and Industry.
